The Town of Kenneth City needs a few citizens to volunteer for the Board of Adjustments. The Board of Adjustment meets once a month, if necessary, in a meeting that will be open to the public. The Board of Adjustment’s primary function is to review and decide on applications for a variance. A variance is essentially permission to do something contrary to zoning regulations.
The Board of Adjustment shall consist of five members, and two alternate members all of whom shall be property owners residing in the town appointed by the Town Council. The term of office of the board members shall be for three years, with vacancies being filled for the unexpired term only.
