Now Hiring for Town Manager
Kenneth City is hiring for the position of Town Manager. The Town Manager serves at the pleasure of the Town Council and is appointed by a majority vote of the Council for a term fixed by an employment agreement. The Town Council has expressed the desire that the next Manager has a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with a degree or major course work in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field and preferably a minimum of five years’ work experience as a top-level municipal or public sector administrator. Preference will be given to candidates that have a Master's degree in Public Administration and/or ICMA Credentialed Manager designation. Residency is not a Charter requirement. Even so, residency within Kenneth City or in close proximity to the Town is strongly desired, for emergency management purposes.
