Kenneth City Selects Aclarian for Turn-key Accounting Solution

Solution includes Enterprise Resource Planning Technology and Professional Staffing

Kenneth City, FL – 12/13/22 – The Town of Kenneth City has signed an agreement with Aclarian and has started implementation of Aclarian’s Web Based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution. The Town will use the ERP for financial management, purchasing, contract management, business licensing and human resources.

“The Town made a strategic decision to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to update critical technologies in order to improve resiliency and efficiency” said Rob Duncan, Interim Town Manager for Kenneth City.  “This solution will eliminate multiple redundant manual processes plus streamline collections and payment processing.”

The Town was seeking to upgrade to a more modern, integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution as the previous technology is not meeting the needs of the community. The ERP solution will bring new capabilities and benefits to Kenneth City, including:

  • Robust financial management to handle every aspect of accounting, budgeting, project performance, and governmental reporting
  • Procurement tools including integrated vendor registration, bids, quotes, requisitioning and ordering
  • Online job applications, benefit elections and changes, employee and position changes, and payroll
  • Management of local business tax receipts online for invoicing, payment, and license validation
  • Contract management workflow, certificates of insurance and reporting.

The FY 2023 Budget is the first Program Based Budget for the Town of Kenneth City and improved visibility into how operations are tracking versus the new approach will help guide future budget decisions. Aclarian’s Enterprise Resource Planning Solution will increase performance and efficiency by providing real-time insight into business processes. The Town will have better visibility into spending versus budget and capital assets. Overall, these tools will help the Town use business intelligence to inform decision making and be more transparent to its constituents.
